Le coup de pied de la mule est une course joviale de 10km qui a lieu tous les ans avant Noël à Châteauneuf du Pape. Parmi les originalités de cette course, un échauffement par le pape « en personne » et des déguisements sur les thèmes du vin et de Noël ! Circuit de 10 km sans difficultés particulières, si ce n’est la montée au château au début et la dernière côte avant la ligne d’arrivée, le mistral n’aidant pas…

The « coup de pied de la mule » is a fun & friendly 10k run that takes place every year before Christmas in Châteauneuf du Pape. Amongst the particularities of this run, be prepared to get a warmup by the pope « himself » and to be surrounded by many Christmas and wine themed costumes! No special difficulties except the climb to the castle at the beggining and the last climb at the end of the race, the wind (« mistral ») not helping much…
