Gluten-Free Green Pizza Crust
I am personnally not too keen on any sort of “x-free” style of food… I just think eating helathy means eating a little bit of everything without any excess. However I tried this recipe last night for a friend of mine and I have to say, it was surprisingly good… I was inspired by the Green Kitchen Stories’ Green Pizza with a Cauliflower Base. I replaced the cauliflower using broccoli as I like the bright green colour of it, and also because I think it tastes better. It is a both healthy & gluten-free variant of my classic never failing pizza dough.
Ingredients
- Florets from 1 broccoli
- 80 g ground almonds
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 3 eggs
- Salt & Pepper
Preparation
Preheat the oven (200°C). Using a food processor, turn the broccoli into a fine rive-like texture. Add the beaten eggs, then the almonds and oregano. Season to taste. Put on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. Then add your favourite pizza topping. DONE!
